What started as a side project from the Bear Carnival team—a free, honest and community-focused guide to global bear events—has just completed its first year online. And we’re thrilled to share that Bear World Magazine has featured My Bear Holiday in a full article celebrating its impact, surprises, and future.
When we launched My Bear Holiday, our aim was simple: give the global bear community a smarter, non-commercial way to find real bear events—bear weeks, weekends, cruises and retreats—without the noise of hookup apps or ad-driven platforms. Just real events, listed fairly, filterable by date and location, and linked only to official sources.
A year later, this little platform is punching far above its weight:
🆕 2024/2025 saw a record number of new bear events added, more than in any previous year.
🗺️ Nearly 100 bear runs worldwide… with many listed nowhere else, from local weekends to growing scenes in unexpected places like Africa.
🛳️ Bear cruises are booming, becoming a core part of the bear travel experience.
📅 And yes—the app has seen a lot of improvements, with a new version launched just weeks ago.
At the time of writing, the platform f is constantly being updated thanks to automation, community tips, and editorial curation. And we’ve done it all without ads, paywalls, or promotions.
This project is still 100% free and non-commercial. It’s a gift from us to the community—and your support, shares, and feedback are what keep it alive.
