We have looked for direct and cheap flights arriving on Saturday March 10th to Gran Canaria airport (LPA) in the morning. This way, you would not have to pay for any extra night in the island, as you could be picked up directly from Maspalomas (10:30) or the airport itself (11:00 and 14:00). Bus transfer to and from Bear Camp is free.
