This is a follow-up to our previous post regarding cancelled and rescheduled events.

What should you do now?

If you only needed a refund for the Naked Boat and already completed the manual form sent last week:

  • You don’t need to do anything else.
  • That batch of refunds is already being processed.

If you have other tickets to be refunded (additional cancelled events, or rescheduled events you cannot attend), please use our new refund system. It should only take a minute:

  1. Go to your account page at our online shop
  2. Open Orders (not Tickets)
  3. Select your order and tap on Refund
  4. Confirm the tickets you need refunded

Please double-check your request before sending it. Your ticket will be considered invalid shortly after you press Submit.

Disco Boat refunds

The Disco Boat is currently sold out and scheduled to sail tomorrow.

If you need a refund for the Disco Boat, we kindly ask you to request it as soon as you read this, so other bears can enjoy your spot aboard. We have a long waiting list, but we cannot release spaces until refund requests are submitted.

TicketSwap resale tickets

Bear Carnival can only refund the original buyer, but we are helping as much as we can.

  • If you bought a ticket on TicketSwap, please go to their Help page → Get in touch [near the bottom of the page]→ Send a message. They will coordinate the payment with the original seller.
  • If you sold a ticket through TicketSwap and receive a message from them asking for the refund money, simply follow the refund procedure explained above. You will receive the refund from us, and TicketSwap will assist you in sending that money to the ticket buyer.

It is easier than it sounds. We had a similar situation with one event last year, and everything worked smoothly.

What to expect after your request

We expect a high volume of requests, so processing will take several days, likely extending well into Easter Week. Refunds are still handled manually, but this new system will help us process them more accurately and efficiently.

Once your request is approved, you will receive a confirmation email. After that, please allow around two weeks for the payment to reach your account through PayPal, card networks and banks.

Looking ahead

We truly appreciate your patience and understanding throughout this situation. On a brighter note, with the new dates planned for 2027 and beyond, we hope not to reschedule half a bear week due to bad weather again!
