So… it looks like we might some rain during the first days of our bear week. Yes, a named storm. “Therese”. But don’t worry — she’s no supervillain, and we’re bears, not sugar. We don’t melt.
Here’s what to expect:
12:00 – Opening Pool Party @ Los Almendros
There’s currently a 40–45% chance of rain. In real life, that means: perfectly doable.
If there’s some drizzle and you’re not in a swimming mood, Los Almendros has you covered — literally. Bar area, covered spaces, sauna, and… let’s say other hotter indoor attractions are all available.
21:00 – Meet’n’Greet @ Axel Maspalomas
Rain probability goes up to around 65%, but the café is covered and cosy. We’ll be there, ready to say hi, hand out official T-shirts, and kick things off properly.
21:00 – The Dark Lairs Opening (hot party) @ Strong Construction
Indoors. Dry. Loud. Exactly as intended. No changes here.
Meanwhile, some official Maspalomas Carnival events (including the Drag Gala) have been postponed. You can check updates at their official website.
