These may include pool parties, cruises, excursions, spa nights, and more. T-shirts and other physical items may also be available.<br><strong>Important:<\/strong> All events are strictly for adults. No underage persons are allowed to book or attend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"tickets\">2. Tickets &amp; Events<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Why and when should I book my tickets?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Only events with limited capacity require tickets\u2014but many of these sell out quickly, sometimes within hours of release. Pool parties, cruises, excursions, and spa nights are often the first to sell out. Booking as soon as tickets are available is highly recommended.<br>You can <a href=\"https:\/\/newsletter.bearcarnival.com\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/newsletter.bearcarnival.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">sign up on our website to receive email alerts<\/a> when ticket sales go live.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>How does the ticketing system work?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Once your purchase is confirmed, you\u2019ll receive a QR code by email. Show this code (printed or on your phone at maximum brightness) at the event entrance for scanning. If you lose your email, please access<a href=\"https:\/\/bearcarnival.com\/tickets\/my-account\"> your account,<\/a> where all your tickets are available for download. Given the necessity, we can also check you in manually, but your entry may be delayed for several minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Can I get tickets for sold-out events?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Yes, there are a few options:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Join the waitlist<\/strong> on the event page to receive automatic notifications when new tickets become available.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Check <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ticketswap.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">TicketSwap<\/a><\/strong>: We recommend TicketSwap as a secure resale platform for popular events. Expect a slight price increase. TicketSwap\u2019s terms and conditions apply.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Try at the door<\/strong>: Some guests don\u2019t show up, and extra spots may be released a couple of hours after doors open, or at check-in time in the case of a trip. These are sold on a first-come, first-served basis.  Just in case, please bring exact change and a backup plan\u2014entry is not guaranteed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Explore alternative events<\/strong>: Check our \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/bearcarnival.com\/overflow\">Overflow Events<\/a>\u201d page for BBQs, day passes, smaller activities, and partner suggestions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>How can I retrieve my tickets?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Log into to  \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/bearcarnival.com\/tickets\/my-account\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/bearcarnival.com\/tickets\/my-account\">My Account<\/a>\u201d to download your tickets. Note: Some events (like excursions) are sold via <a class=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/cancanaria.com\">https:\/\/cancanaria.com<\/a>. For those, contact CanCanaria directly if you lose your ticket.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>How can I ensure your emails don\u2019t go to spam?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Please whitelist <strong><a class=\"\">shop@bearcarnival.com<\/a><\/strong> using your email provider\u2019s settings. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Do I need to buy a ticket for events at my accommodation?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>If you&#8217;re staying at the venue:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Pool parties<\/strong>: Free for hotel guests\u2014just show your keycard.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Food events or spa nights<\/strong>: They require separate booking, even for guests.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Other events, like big club nights, may be free or open to all without reservation. Please check the <a href=\"https:\/\/programme.bearcarnival.com\">programme<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Can I request special food at events?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Yes\u2014please note dietary needs (e.g., vegan, vegetarian, allergies) in the booking form or email us.<br>Note: Boat trips have a fixed menu, usually chicken salad or paella. Gluten-allergic guests are advised <strong>not to book food events<\/strong> or bring their own food, as we cannot guarantee cross-contamination safety.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What&#8217;s the policy on bad weather conditions or &#8220;force majeure&#8221;?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>No place on Earth enjoy more stable weather than Maspalomas. That&#8217;s a scientific fact. However, as anywhere on Earth, occasional rain or strong winds are still possible. In such cases, three types of outdoor events could potentially be affected: <strong>boat trips, island tours and poolside events.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As a general rule, events will take place unless weather conditions create a safety risk for attendees, staff or equipment. <strong>Events normally continue as scheduled unless weather conditions create a safety risk.<\/strong> Relocated events due to weather or other force majeure situations will take place normally, and will not be eligible for refunds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For example, pool parties at venues such as Axel or Los Almendros can still be enjoyable even with occasional light drizzle. Open air events could be relocated indoors if essential.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Anyway, under uncertain weather conditions, attendees are required to <strong>check their email for last-minute updates before coming to the event.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The following policies apply depending on the type of event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Boat trips<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>captain has the final decision<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If the captain considers conditions safe, the boat will depart as scheduled. If sailing is considered unsafe, attendees will be notified by email and <strong>tickets will be fully refunded<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Island tours<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>The final decision rests with <strong>CanCanaria (our tour operator)<\/strong> together with the management of the venues included in the itinerary. Most attractions visited during these tours are <strong>partially or fully covered<\/strong>, so weather conditions rarely affect them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Poolside events and pool parties<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>The decision is taken jointly by <strong>the venue management and Bear Carnival<\/strong>. If both parties consider that the bar areas, music and cruising spaces can be safely enjoyed, the event will continue. If a <strong>change to a safer location <\/strong>is needed, tickets will still be valid in the same conditions, with no need of refunds or exchanges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"payments\">3. Payments, Refunds &amp; Resales<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Can I get a refund for my ticket?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Refunds may be available in the following cases:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Force Majeure<\/strong> (e.g., event cancellation or travel bans): Full or partial refunds will be processed within a few days. The actual timing to receive a refund completely depends on your bank and credit card network (not us), and can be delayed up to 1-2 weeks in some cases. Please don&#8217;t contact us within that timeframe once we have released your funds, as we cannot help on this. In the case of resold tickets, you will need to contact the seller via TicketSwap, as he will be refunded and will have the responsibility of sending your money back.<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Personal Reasons<\/strong> (e.g., illness, error, change of plans): These cases are not normally covered. If you need to protect yourself against these situations, please contract an inexpensive travel insurance policy. Anyway, you can always easily and safely resell your tickets with our partner <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ticketswap.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">TicketSwap<\/a>. More info below.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Tickets will be deemed invalid <\/strong>shortly after a refund has been requested, even if the refund itself has not been processed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>You obviously cannot request a refund for an event that has already started or is close to start.<\/strong> You will be given several days to request a refund. This time will normally finish when the event starts, or 12-24 hours earlier if busses or food need to be arranged.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Admin fees:<\/strong> Refunds may incur up to a 6.5% fee (min. \u20ac3 per ticket) to cover PayPal and processing costs. This will be properly informed given a force majeure case.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Can I resell or buy resold tickets?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Yes. Tickets are transferable as long as the QR code is valid. You have two options:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>1. TicketSwap (Recommended)<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Bear Carnival is verified on <a class=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/ticketswap.com\">https:\/\/ticketswap.com<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We provide guidance but are not legally responsible for resales.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If issues arise (e.g., event cancellation), TicketSwap normally handles buyer-seller mediation and support.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you own an account on a British bank and your bank details are not accepted by TicketSwap, just try to sell your tickets in GBP, not EUR. This is a known limitation of the British banking system.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>2. Private Sales<\/strong> (at your own risk)<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>You can resell tickets via our <a href=\"https:\/\/t.me\/bearcarnival\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/t.me\/bearcarnival\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Telegram<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/group.bearcarnival.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Facebook<\/a> groups.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We recommend using <a href=\"https:\/\/www.paypal.com\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.paypal.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">PayPal <\/a>for extra protection.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Bear Carnival cannot be held responsible, but we\u2019ll assist if any dispute arises.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"security\">4. Security and Deliverability<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>What if I didn\u2019t receive my ticket or email?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Log into <a href=\"https:\/\/bearcarnival.com\/tickets\/my-account\">your account<\/a> and download your tickets under \u201cMy Tickets\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Are online payments secure?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Yes. Our site uses SSL encryption. Merchandise <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>How do I collect pre-booked T-shirts or other items?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Items can be picked up at our <strong>Meet &amp; Greet<\/strong> event or at the <strong>reception of most pool parties<\/strong>. Accommodation Events (e.g., Bear Tantra Retreat)<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If your booking includes accommodation, please read the following terms carefully:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Personal hygiene<\/strong> is essential (daily showers required before using shared spaces).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Health disclosures<\/strong>: Allergies, conditions, disabilities, or CPAP use must be declared in advance.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Snoring\/CPAP<\/strong>: You may be asked to book private or known-shared rooms. Si ambas partes consideran que las zonas de bar, la m\u00fasica y los espacios de socializaci\u00f3n pueden disfrutarse de forma segura, el evento continuar\u00e1 seg\u00fan lo previsto. Si es necesario un cambio a una ubicaci\u00f3n m\u00e1s segura, los tickets ser\u00e1n siendo igualmente v\u00e1lidos, sin necesidad de reembolsos o cambios.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3. Pagos, reembolsos y reventas<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u00bfPuedo obtener un reembolso por mi entrada?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Los reembolsos pueden estar disponibles en los siguientes casos:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Fuerza mayor<\/strong> (por ejemplo, cancelaci\u00f3n del evento o prohibiciones de viaje): los reembolsos completos o parciales se procesar\u00e1n dentro de unos d\u00edas.
